The Grand Ducal Police have reported that they issued 40 fines for mobile phone use while driving in Foetz on Thursday 19 June 2025.

In the late afternoon, police in Foetz conducted a large-scale traffic check focusing on distracted driving and vehicle documents. They inspected a total of 70 vehicles.

40 drivers received fines (€250 and four points on their licence) for using a mobile phone while driving.

In addition, police issued fines after one driver failed to present a valid technical inspection document and one vehicle had an improper licence plate.

Officers filed a report against one motorist because he failed to present a valid driver's licence.
