The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a shopping centre in Bertrange was evacuated on Monday evening following reports of a suspicious odour.
At around 19:00 on Monday 30 June 2025, the police were notified of an unusual smell at the site (shopping centre name not disclosed). Police and CGDIS personnel went to the scene and proceeded to evacuate the building as a precautionary measure.
Following analyses, the authorities confirmed that the substance posed no danger. However, two shopping centre employees were taken to hospital for further medical checks.
The operation concluded around 22:10.
