
The Grand Ducal Police have reported two drug-related arrests in Luxembourg-Gare.
On Tuesday 1 July 2025, a police patrol on Rue Joseph Junck in Luxembourg-Gare noticed a man suspected of dealing drugs. When the man saw that the officers were approaching him, he suddenly took several sips of a drink in his possession. During a body search, cash and a mobile phone were seized. As it was suspected that he might have swallowed drug pills, he underwent a scan, which returned a positive result. On the order of the public prosecutor, he was arrested and brought before an investigating judge in the afternoon of Tuesday 1 July 2025.
Also, on Tuesday 1 July 2025, at approximately 18:30, the police encountered another man on Rue Joseph Junck in Luxembourg-Gare who acted suspiciously at the sight of the officers. The officers decided to check on the man. During this check, this man also made several swallowing movements, which caused suspicion that he may have swallowed drug pills. During a body search, cash and three mobile phones were seized. The suspect underwent a scan, during which twelve foreign bodies were found in his stomach. Police arrested him on the orders of the public prosecutor.
