The Grand Ducal Police have reported the arrest of a man against whom a European arrest warrant had been issued.
In the early hours of Tuesday 8 July 2025, the individual presented himself at the police station in Diekirch. Upon verification of his identity, officers discovered that the man was the subject of a European arrest warrant.
The public prosecutor’s office was immediately informed and ordered his arrest. The man was scheduled to appear before an investigating judge later on Tuesday morning.
The police have provided no further details at this stage.
