On Thursday 7 May 2026, the Fédération des acteurs du secteur social au Luxembourg (FEDAS) and media agency Picto announced the launch of a new information and networking platform dedicated to Luxembourg’s social sector, named socialhub.
The hub is aimed at bringing together news, practical information, job offers and upcoming events. The project takes the form of a website, socialhub.lu, designed as a platform for exchange and networking for everyone working in the social field.
The project results from a collaboration between both partners. They described socialhub as more than a simple webpage, presenting it instead as a complete ecosystem.
“Our approach is optimistic and ambitious. The aim is to build bridges between members of the hub, FEDAS Luxembourg, the general public and state institutions,” said Thomas Lentz, Secretary General of FEDAS Luxembourg.
“With socialhub, we wanted to create an information and networking platform, a shared ecosystem for actors in the social sector, their suppliers and their partners,” added Frédéric Liégeois, founder of Picto.
On the platform, members of the hub and FEDAS Luxembourg can share news relating to topics covered by the social sector, including childcare and family support, social cohesion, the social and solidarity economy, disability, education and childcare services, housing, youth, senior citizens and lifelong learning. The platform also features an “Agenda” section gathering events organised within the sector, as well as a “Job Offers” section listing vacancies within participating organisations.
The platform is currently available in French, with German and English versions expected to follow soon.
Organisations interested in joining socialhub can register via the website.
