The Grand Ducal Police have reported a violent theft and several burglaries across Luxembourg on Monday 11 May 2026.
On the afternoon of Monday, a robbery was reported in Luxembourg-Weimerskirch at around 15:30. According to initial information, a man was approached by three suspects and threatened with a knife, after which they stole his backpack and a camera before fleeing the scene. An immediate police search did not locate the suspects. An investigation has been launched.
Also on Monday, a burglary was reported at a construction site in Mamer. According to initial information, unknown perpetrators forced open a lock to gain access to the site and stole several items.
Another burglary was reported the same day in the basement area of an apartment building on Boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte in Luxembourg-Belair. Initial information suggests that an unknown suspect gained access to several basement storage rooms.
Investigations are ongoing in all cases.
