On Wednesday 13 May 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that multiple offences were identified during large-scale traffic checks in Junglinster on Tuesday 12 May.

According to the police, together with Luxembourg’s Customs and Excise Administration, it carried out a large-scale traffic control operation in Junglinster from 16:00 to 17:45 on Tuesday, which focused on vehicle documentation.

Eight drivers received fines because they did not possess a valid technical inspection certificate, while ten drivers were fined for not having a valid tax disc.

In two cases, drivers received a fine because they were not carrying a vehicle document (tax disc, insurance).

In addition, defects were identified on the tyres of one vehicle and one driver did not possess a valid driving licence.
