The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a man was arrested after officers discovered he was the subject of an arrest warrant following an incident in Schifflange on the evening of Sunday 26 July 2026.
According to the police, officers were called to a residential address after reports that a man had repeatedly rung a doorbell.
During the check, officers established that the man was wanted under an arrest warrant. A search was launched and the suspect was later located in Esch-sur-Alzette.
On the instructions of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the man was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Monday 27 July 2026.
