Luxembourg's national railway company, the CFL, has announced that its 2026 JobDay will take place at Luxembourg railway station from 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturday 17 October 2026, offering an immersive and personalised experience, available upon registration, for people interested in a career within the CFL Group.
According to CFL, while previous editions were mainly organised as recruitment fairs open to the general public, this year's event will focus on direct exchanges and a programme tailored to participants.
“This new concept, accessible upon registration, will allow people considering a new career, an apprenticeship or a professional career change in the fields of engineering, IT and railway professions to engage directly with CFL teams, discover the various opportunities for professional development and explore the many aspects of these professions that are essential to the mobility of tomorrow,” stated CFL.
By designing their own programme, based in particular on their level and field of education and their language skills, participants will be able to choose from presentations, practical demonstrations, thematic workshops and introductions to professions for which they may be eligible. The event will offer an opportunity to discover engineering professions in their various forms, as well as the railway professions that ensure the operation, maintenance, development and innovation of Luxembourg's rail network every day.
The activities will take place across the buildings of Luxembourg railway station, the platforms and the carriages of a Coradia train specially reserved for the occasion, "allowing participants to discover CFL working environments and interact directly with operational and recruitment teams."
The full programme and registration details are available at jobscfl.lu. Registration is possible until Monday 12 October 2026.
CFL noted that places are limited for certain workshops, presentations and activities.
