On Sunday 15 June 2025, the "Fest vun der Natur" (Festival of Nature) brought together families, nature lovers and over 40 exhibitors at the Haus vun der Natur in Kockelscheuer.
Organised by natur&ëmwelt asbl, the event offered interactive demonstrations and workshops - and showcased campaigns such as "Bestëbser - Méi wéi Beien" and "Urban Birds" - highlighting biodiversity and sustainability.
With activities ranging from blacksmithing, sheep shearing and beekeeping demonstrations to a Repair Café and creative workshops, the festival celebrated the connection between people and nature. There was also a raffle, with prizes including bicycles and vouchers for an organic grocery store.
All proceeds will support natur&ëmwelt's biodiversity projects in Luxembourg.
Among those present were Luxembourg's Minister of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, Serge Wilmes, the First Alderman of the City of Luxembourg, Maurice Bauer, and Luxembourg City Alderwoman Simone Beissel (all three pictured below).
