On Monday 13 July 2026, Luxembourg's National Youth Service (Service national de la jeunesse - SNJ) reported that the second edition of the Jugendfestival Mëttendran took place at the Kirchberg Amphitheatre on Saturday 11 July 2026.

According to the SNJ, the festival once again brought together young people and organisations from across Luxembourg's youth sector, including the SNJ, youth centres and youth organisations and services, reaffirming its position as a key event for young people in Luxembourg.

The SNJ explained that, beyond its festive atmosphere, the Jugendfestival Mëttendran aims above all to provide a space for participation where young people can express themselves, experiment, discover new activities and exchange ideas with both their peers and youth professionals. The numerous activities, participatory workshops, sports and creative sessions, together with social and catering areas, enabled participants to create their own programme throughout the day in a spirit of openness and sharing.

According to the SNJ, visitors enjoyed a day of discovery and exchange in sunny weather and an atmosphere inspired by summer festivals.

The festival also welcomed Luxembourg's Minister of Education, Children and Youth, Claude Meisch, who visited the various stands and spoke with exhibitors and young participants.

The day concluded with live performances and DJs in what the SNJ described as a festive atmosphere, marking the successful second edition of the festival. The SNJ thanked all partners, volunteers, artists and visitors who contributed to making the event "a true celebration of youth".
