Luxembourg Speed Camp Welcomes 54 Skaters from 5 Nations

On Wednesday 16 September 2026, the Luxembourg Speed Skating Union (Union Luxembourgeoise de Patinage de Vitesse – ULPV) reported that the eleventh LuxSpeedCamp had brought together 54 skaters for a short track speed skating training camp in Luxembourg from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September 2026.

According to the ULPV, the 54 participants represented twelve clubs from France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The camp gave skaters an opportunity to return to the ice, practise their technique and build speed. The union also reported a Luxembourg training-session record, with 36 skaters on the ice at the same time.

ULPV skaters are next scheduled to compete at the Hansa Cup in Rostock, Germany, from 9 to 11 October, the Belfort Open in France from 10 to 11 October and the Lara van Ruijven Memorial in the Netherlands from 24 to 25 October 2026.
