Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced an increase in the price of diesel, heating oil and diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use, along with a decrease in the cost of 95 and 98 octane petrol.
As of Saturday 12 September 2026, the price of diesel has risen by 9.9 cents to €2.123 per litre (including VAT), while the cost of heating oil has increased by 10 cents to €1.610 per litre. Diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use has also risen by 10 cents, to €1.728 and €1.575 per litre respectively.
The price of unleaded 95 octane petrol has decreased by 4.7 cents to €1.793 per litre, while unleaded 98 octane petrol has fallen by 4.9 cents to €1.981 per litre (including VAT).
LPG and propane prices stand at 79.2 and 81.8 cents per litre respectively.
