The Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF) has reported that RafaMonteiro09 of F91 Dudelange won the Orange eLeague 2026 Grand Final and was crowned the national EA Sports FC 26 champion during the final matchday, which took place at the Cloche d’Or shopping centre in Luxembourg-Gasperich on Saturday 18 April 2026.
Paul Philipp, President of the FLF, and Corinne Loze, CEO of Orange Luxembourg, attended the awards ceremony.
Organised by Orange Luxembourg in cooperation with the FLF, the Orange eLeague serves as the official national competition for EA Sports FC 26. RafaMonteiro09 has qualified for the group stage of the eChampions League, scheduled to take place in Manchester from Friday 15 to Saturday 16 May 2026, where he will represent Luxembourg.
According to the FLF, this year’s competition continues to grow in level and international reach. The final brought together sixteen players representing fifteen Luxembourgish clubs, as well as participants from Portugal, Spain, Belgium and Germany.
Following several weeks of qualifying rounds, eight finalists advanced to the decisive stage of the competition, with matches broadcast live on Twitch. The finalists were F91 Dudelange (RafaMonteiro09), UNA Strassen (ShadooW), FC Mamer 32 (echpokyn), Jeunesse Esch (Agfut07), Atert Bissen (bernasfigue5), FC Käerch (SaRo_09x), Jeunesse Canach (LouisLux8) and Luna Oberkorn (martelo).
The winner received a prize of €2,500. Atert Bissen (bernasfigue5) finished second and received €1,650, while Jeunesse Esch (Agfut07) placed third and was awarded €1,000.
The FLF also noted that Season 6 of the Orange eLeague recorded more than 200 registrations during the qualification phase, with over 200 matches played and growing public interest both online and on-site at the Cloche d’Or shopping centre.
