On Thursday 29 May 2025, the Luxembourg Olympic and Sporting Committee (COSL), in collaboration with the City of Luxembourg (VdL) and national sports federations, will host the 42nd edition of the COSL Spillfest at the Kockelscheuer lake.
According to the organisers, this year’s event will offer visitors the opportunity to explore a wide range of sports activities in an engaging and family-friendly environment.
The event programme includes a variety of workshops featuring sports such as fencing, taekwondo, archery, karate, volleyball, judo, badminton, chess, rugby, pétanque, handball, basketball and cricket, among others.
The VdL has announced that various traffic measures will be in place on the day of the COSL Spillfest to ensure the smooth organisation of the event and to facilitate public access to the Kockelscheuer lake.
The P+R Kockelscheuer will be closed and parking prohibited from 23:00 on Wednesday 28 May 2025 until the end of the event. Parking will also be forbidden along the section of Route de Bettembourg between Boulevard de Kockelscheuer and the Maison de la Nature.
