The Grand Ducal Police have announced that Police Day will take place on Sunday 8 June 8 2025 at 10:00, in Redange-sur-Attert.

The event, which historically attracts several thousand visitors, is an opportunity for the public to gain insight into the world and profession of Luxembourg’s police officers.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the police in all their facets and the event will include demonstrations, information stands and exhibitions of police equipment and vehicles.

The programme for the event includes:

⁃ a service vehicle procession;

⁃ a demonstration of the Special Police Unit;

⁃ a demonstration of the canine section of the police;

⁃ demonstrations of the Self Defence Club and the School of Martial Arts and Karate Defence;

⁃ an exhibition of service vehicles.

In addition to this, the Grand Ducal Police have announced that traffic instruction agents will take young people on a bicycle route to raise awareness of basic traffic rules. There will also be a laser shooting workshop, face painting and a stand to produce your own police badge. Virtual reality headsets will also be available to visitors, enabling them to project themselves into a police intervention.

The organisers have emphasised that recruitment will also play a central role on Police Day. A "Recruitment Centre” will be on-site for anyone who wishes to speak to the police recruitment team regarding jobs, opportunities and careers within the police. There will also be a training course installed on the site, allowing those interested to test their abilities in the manner in which recruits are tested as part of their entry exam to join the police force.

Information stands on the work of the police and the different units within the police and crime prevention teams will also be present, along with a Police Museum and members of the International Police Association.

Food and refreshments will also be available on-site.
