
The Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) has announced that it is transforming the capital into a vibrant open-air stage for the 30th anniversary edition of "Summer in the City".
From Friday 13 June to Friday 19 September 2025, the LCTO is organising a colourful cultural programme for residents and visitors alike, in collaboration with the City of Luxembourg and its cultural partners.
Highlights
Grand Ducal Palace tours: From Thursday 17 July to Sunday 31 August, the Grand Ducal Palace will open its doors to the public for exclusive guided tours. Advance booking begins on Tuesday 24 June at the LCTO reception desk in Place Guillaume II (Knuedler) or at www.luxembourg-city.com.
National Day concerts: The celebrations marking National Day and the 25th anniversary of Grand Duke Henri's reign will kick off on Saturday 21 June 2025 in Place Guillaume II with concerts by American soul singer-songwriter China Moses and American jazz singer Dee Dee Bridgewater (accompanied by the Luxembourg National Jazz Orchestra - ONJL).
City Sounds Festival: A series of open-air concerts will be taking place for National Day, on Sunday 22 and Monday 23 June, in Glacis, featuring artists such as Dimitri Vegas, James Bay and Train.
Kinnekswiss loves...: This outdoor concert series will take place in the municipal park from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 July 2025, featuring the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, among others.
Blues'n'Jazz Rallye: This year's festival will take place on Saturday 19 July, starting at 16:00. More than 40 acts will play across the old town's historic quarters (from Clausen to Pfaffenthal).
LUGA 2025: The LUGA - Luxembourg Urban Garden open-air exhibition continues to offer a new vision of the capital until Saturday 18 October 2025, showcasing urban gardens, art installations and various events. As part of LUGA 2025, the LCTO is organising themed guided tours that connect the city and nature. Visitors can also discover the "Be(e)loved Luxembourg" and "A Walk Towards More Sustainability" tours.
Pétrusse Casemates: As part of the special summer offer, visitors will benefit from a 30% discount on admission to the Pétrusse Casemates from Tuesday 1 July to Sunday 31 August 2025.
Schueberfouer: this traditional end-of-summer funfair will return to Glacis from Friday 22 August to Wednesday 10 September.
