The Entente Bartrenger Duerffest has announced the 30th edition of the "Bartrenger Duerffest" (Bertrange town festival), taking place from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 August 2025.
A "major jubilee" is planned this year, after plans to celebrate the 25th anniversary were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The organisers said they are taking this opportunity to look back on 30 years of history and development.
Since 1996, the Bartrenger Duerffest has been a summer highlight in Luxembourg. For three days, the meadow in the centre of the municipality transforms into a meeting place for residents, local associations and guests from across the country. Local clubs offer a range of drinks and culinary specialities at stands and pavilions.
This year's programme features various activities and concerts. In addition to a fire show and performances by DJs and bands, there will be entertainment and games for children and adults. The organisers noted that the event is particularly known for its friendly atmosphere, the campfire in the evening and the relaxed party that often continues late into the night.
Festivities will begin on Friday evening with a Happy Hour (17:00-18:00) and a set by DJ Schmisi (from 20:00). Saturday's programme includes a blind beer tasting (17:00) and a fire show (21:00), while Sunday offers a concert-apero (12:30), an interactive show (14:45) and a circus workshop (16:00) with John Happi, and live music by Nico Romito (17:00) and DJ Humpejang (20:00), among other activities. A fire engine exhibition will be open on both Saturday and Sunday from 11:00.
