On Wednesday 1 April 2026, Flibco, a Luxembourg-based airport transportation company, reported rising demand among Luxembourg residents for its direct shuttle service between Luxembourg and Charleroi Airport and announced an 11% increase in seat capacity for 2026.

According to Flibco, since the relaunch of the route at the end of 2023, passenger numbers have grown steadily year on year, and now, across its Belgian network, Flibco transports more than 2.7 million passengers annually to and from Charleroi Airport.

To meet rising demand on the Luxembourg route, the expansion will aim to provide “greater flexibility”, particularly during peak travel periods, and “strengthen the route’s role as a reliable mobility option” for travellers seeking connection to a major low-cost airport.

Charleroi Airport offers 63 direct destinations that are not available from Luxembourg. This provides additional travel options for both leisure and business passengers. Destinations include Istanbul, Pisa, Turin, Verona, Paphos in Cyprus, Reus, Carcassonne, Perpignan, Béziers and Nîmes.

The Flibco service includes a direct connection between Luxembourg and Charleroi Airport in around two hours and thirty minutes, with fares starting from €20.50. The ticket includes a guaranteed seat with online booking and luggage included in the price. The shuttle departs from P+R Bouillon in Luxembourg and arrives directly at the airport terminal, with ten daily departures, including Sundays and public holidays.
