Like Culture, Sports is very important for the international community here. A number of clubs were created by members of the international community here, with some sports being introduced to the Grand Duchy for the first time, from Rugby and Cricket to Lacrosse, Squash, American Football, Cheerleading and Gaelic Games... On the other hand, Football has been established in the Grand Duchy and normally members of the international community join local clubs close to where they live (therefore, they have not been listed). Winter Sports are quite popular here, with clubs established for Ice Hockey, Curling, Figure Skating, Ice Dance and Speedskating. Other sport sub-categories include Badminton, Fitness, Polo, Swimming and Tennis with those new to the scene including Bouldering, Roller Derby and Pickleball.
