The National Solidarity Fund (Fonds National de la Solidarité - FNS) has set up a new tool which allows the potential beneficiary to check whether they are eligible for a cost-of-living allowance and/or an energy bonus and to calculate an estimate of the amount of help they would get, if any.
Luxembourg’s Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region has recalled that the deadline for submitting a request for the cost-of-living allowance and/or the energy bonus is Tuesday 31 October 2023.
Any eligible person should submit their grant application until the end of the month to the FNS in order to benefit from this aid.
Granting of the energy bonus is automatic for people receiving the cost-of-living allowance. People whose gross income does not exceed the cost-of-living allowance ceilings of 25% can submit a request for the energy bonus.
A second calculator is available to calculate an estimate of the amount of social inclusion income (REVIS). The new calculators are accessible on the https://fns.public.lu/en.html website.
