On Wednesday 23 April 2025, the Grand Ducal Police launched an appeal for witnesses in relation to a road accident that occurred between Grevenmacher and Potaschberg one week earlier.
On Tuesday 15 April 2025, a vehicle crashed into and damaged a fence and a traffic sign on the Kahlenberg road (N1) road from Grevenmacher toward Potaschberg, right next to a shopping centre car park.
According to initial reports, the driver turned onto the N1 side road and collided with the fence and the sign. The vehicle was also damaged but the driver fled the scene of the accident.
In this context, the police have said they are seeking useful information regarding the identity of the driver or the vehicle involved in the accident. Anyone with relevant information should contact the Museldall police station via tel.: 244-701000 or via email to Police.MUSELDALL@police.etat.lu.
