
The Grand Ducal Police have reported that they attended more than 60 disputes and disturbances, taking place over a period of 24 hours, between Wednesday 30 April and Thursday 1 May 2025.
The police clarified that in most cases the situations had settled by the time officers arrived or were resolved on the spot.
On Wednesday 30 April, at approximately 21:25, the police received reports of an aggressive individual on a bus in Helperknapp. Upon their arrival, they immobilised the individual concerned. According to initial information, the man was allegedly harassing another person on the bus and bus passengers intervened to protect them. An argument and fight ensued, resulting in minor injuries to the first man. The police reported that the man behaved aggressively and insulted both officers and medical personnel and subsequently placed the individual in transit detention after a medical examination. Further investigations have been initiated.
