The Grand Ducal Police have launched a call for witnesses following a fatal traffic accident that occurred on the A6 motorway on Saturday 3 May 2025.
The accident took place around 15:15 on Saturday on the A6 toward Luxembourg, just before the Belgian border, near Steinfort. Three vehicles and six passengers were involved in the accident.
One of the drivers died at the scene from his injuries. The other passengers were taken by ambulance to hospital for medical treatment.
The motorway was closed on both sides during the rescue operations.
The authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
