The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a robbery involving violence took place in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie in the early hours of Friday 18 July 2025.
According to the police, a police patrol immediately responded and found the victim at the scene. The individual had a laceration on the arm and received medical attention from emergency services.
Initial reports indicated that the victim had been assaulted by three perpetrators who stole their mobile phone and caused the injury with a knife. The suspects were located during a subsequent search. During identity checks, it was discovered that one of the three men was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant. He was taken to the CPL in Schrassig following a medical examination.
In a separate case, the Grand Ducal Police reported that during the night of Saturday 19 July 2025, a woman presented herself at a hospital in Luxembourg City with health complaints and admitted to having swallowed drug pellets. A scan revealed over 100 foreign objects in her body. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, she was arrested and is expected to appear before an investigating judge later that day.
