The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on the afternoon of 29 July 2025, officers carried out a large-scale operation in Luxembourg City’s Gare district.
The operation focused on drug and immigration legislation, as well as enhancing general police presence, particularly along Rue de la Fonderie and Rue de Hollerich.
According to the police, officers checked a total of 23 individuals. One fine was issued and one report was filed for a violation of drug legislation.
Police also handed formal notices to seven foreign nationals under immigration legislation. The operation involved 22 officers and one sniffer dog.
