The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on the morning of Thursday 7 August 2025, officers carried out multiple speed checks on the CR181, heading from Strassen towards Bridel.
According to the police, the speed limit on the route had been reduced to 50km/h due to roadworks being carried out by the Roads and Bridges Administration and the Forestry Department.
As a result of the speed checks, the police issued fines to seventeen drivers for failing to adhere to the reduced speed limit.
