The Grand Ducal Police reported they recently revoked a driving licence for a drink driving offence near Mersch.
According to the initial report, during the early hours of Friday 22 August 2025, the police received a report of a car swerving on the A7 towards Mersch.
A short time later, a police patrol located the car on Rue d’Arlon and stopped the driver.
Officers carried out an alcohol test which confirmed the driver was over the limit and confiscated her licence.
