The Grand Ducal Police have reported that three men were arrested on Tuesday 9 September 2025, for incidents of assault and theft in Luxembourg City.
On Tuesday afternoon, the police were alerted to a fight in Rue du Fort Neipperg, in the Luxembourg-Gare district. A police patrol went to the scene and located the victim.
According to initial information, there had been an assault during which three men had physically attacked the victim. The victim later noticed that his necklace had been stolen. The suspects were apprehended a short time afterwards and during a body search cash and a necklace were found. Further investigations revealed that the suspects could also be linked to the theft of a wallet on a train. The necklace and the wallet were returned to their rightful owners.
On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the three alleged perpetrators were arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Wednesday 10 September 2025.
