The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a traffic accident involving a lorry occurred on the A6 motorway on Tuesday 24 February 2026.
Shortly after 10:10, the police were informed of an accident on the A6 in the direction of Luxembourg near Strassen. According to initial information, a lorry tyre burst, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle, collide with the central reservation barrier and subsequently overturn.
The driver was injured in the incident and, after receiving initial treatment at the scene, was transported to hospital.
The motorway was closed to traffic for the duration of the rescue and clean-up operations.
