On Sunday 10 May 2026, the occasion of Europe Day, Wiltz Castle will host a programme of festivities where people are invited to come and celebrate the values of peace, unity and diversity that define Europe.
From 11:00 to 18:00 on Sunday 10 May, Wiltz Castle will present a varied programme featuring cultural and musical highlights, in the presence of Grand Duke Guillaume and other distinguished guests.
At the heart of the event, the traditional European Village will take visitors on a journey through the member countries and the institutions of the European Union, with culinary specialities, crafts, cultural displays and information stands about European programmes in Luxembourg. This year, the focus is on everyday Europe, in rural areas and in our region, highlighting initiatives that shape our daily lives.
The event is organised by the Representation of the European Commission in Luxembourg, in collaboration with the European Parliament, the Luxembourg government and the City of Wiltz, who invite visitors to take the opportunity to discover Wiltz and get to know the regional offerings of the Éislek.
On the day, visitors will have the chance to experience local traditions such as regional beer brewing or join a guided walk organised by the Naturpark to explore the surrounding nature and heritage.
The full programme of the day’s events will be announced by the organisers in due course.
The event is free to attend.
