On Wednesday 4 November 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that officers had seized several firearms and ammunition following an incident involving a man who resisted police officers in Consdorf the previous day.

According to the police, officers visited the man's residence in Consdorf on Tuesday 3 November 2026 to arrange the surrender of his firearms after his firearms possession permit had expired.

When officers explained why they had come, the man became increasingly uncooperative and initially refused to hand over his weapons.

He then repeatedly tried to push one of the officers away and return inside his house. As he continued to resist, officers had to restrain him.
