The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a suspected drug dealer was arrested in Luxembourg-Gare on the morning of Thursday 23 April 2026.
According to the initial information, on Thursday morning a police patrol on Rue de Strasbourg in Luxembourg-Gare noticed a man due to his suspicious behaviour. As there were suspicions that he could be a drug dealer, he was subjected to a check.
During the check, the man made suspicious mouth movements. As the police officers believed he may have swallowed drugs, he was subjected to a scan, which returned a positive result.
Furthermore, during a body search, a mobile phone and cash were also seized.
On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the suspect was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the afternoon of Thursday 23 April.
