The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a stabbing incident took place in Esch-sur-Alzette on Thursday 23 April 2026.
On Thursday evening, police were alerted to a fight on Rue de l'Alzette during which a person was reportedly injured with a knife. The suspect then fled on an e-scooter.
Several police patrols attended the scene and apprehended the suspect following a search. A knife was found in his possession. Despite searching, officers but could not locate the victim.
During the police interaction, the suspect repeatedly threatened officers. A report was filed.
