The Grand Ducal Police has reported an incident involving a woman in Redange/Attert who was walking on the roadway, stopping passing vehicles and spitting at and hitting them.
Police said they received the report on Thursday 23 April 2026 at around 18:00. The incident prompted police intervention as the individual posed a risk to herself and others.
Officers located the woman at the scene, where she behaved in a very uncooperative manner. Due to her heavily intoxicated state, they placed her in custody following a medical examination.
During further disorderly behaviour, several police officers sustained injuries. The public prosecutor subsequently ordered her arrest, and she was brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Friday 24 April 2026.
