The Grand Ducal Police have announced that the fourth edition of “Op e Kaffi mat der Police” (“A Coffee with the Police”) will take place on Thursday 30 April 2026, from 16:00 to 18:00 at Café Komptoir (25 Rue du Fort Elisabeth, Place de Paris) in Luxembourg-Gare.
The initiative, specifically targeting the Luxembourg-Gare district, aims to create a space for open discussion, promote dialogue between residents and the police, and facilitate constructive exchanges on issues related to public safety.
Over coffee, visitors will be able to share their concerns about the Gare district, as well as their needs and expectations. In turn, police officers will have the opportunity to share their experiences, explain their work and offer advice. Feedback from residents may also help the police anticipate certain issues, identify new areas for action and adapt local measures accordingly.
The police noted that these meetings take place on a monthly basis in cafés in the district and may, depending on current events, focus on specific topics. No prior registration is required.
The police also stressed that these sessions are not intended for filing complaints or handling individual cases. For formal complaints, residents are advised to contact a police station of their choice.
