On Tuesday 19 May 2026, the Grand Ducal Police launched an appeal for witnesses to help identify an unknown individual in connection with the theft of a handbag that occurred on Thursday 9 October 2025.
According to the police, the theft took place in a shopping centre on Rue Lohr in Mersch. As part of the investigation, officers are seeking to identify the person shown in the published photograph.
