The Maison du Grand-Duc has announced an upcoming official visit to Luxembourg by the President of Portugal and his wife.
At the invitation of the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, and on the occasion of the official Portugal Day celebrations, António José Seguro and his wife, Margarida Maldonado Freitas, will pay an official visit to the Grand Duchy on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June 2026.
President Seguro will be accompanied by Portugal's Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, who will also be present for the Portugal Day celebrations.
According to the Maison du Grand-Duc, the visit aims to further strengthen the "excellent" relations between the two countries by highlighting the contribution of Portuguese residents to Luxembourg's development.
