On Tuesday 26 May 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported on the death of a man who had jumped from a bridge in Grevenmacher into the Moselle.
According to the initial information, on the afternoon of Monday 25 May, police were informed of a man who, for reasons still unknown, had jumped from the bridge in Grevenmacher into the Moselle and was reportedly drifting in the water.
The man was recovered by emergency services and taken to hospital, where he died during the night.
The police said the circumstances surrounding the incident have yet to be established.
