The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced that the Pfaffenthal lift in Luxembourg-Ville will be out of service from Monday 1 June 2026 at 09:00 until late afternoon on Tuesday 2 June 2026 due to maintenance works.
According to the VdL, the interruption relates to scheduled monthly maintenance works on Monday, which will exceptionally continue for an additional day.
The authorities noted that users can receive real-time updates about the lift’s operational status through the VdL smartphone application cityapp. The app provides information about opening hours, planned maintenance closures and temporary technical outages.
