The Grand Ducal Police have reported that shortly after 07:30 on Sunday 31 May 2026, a 37-year-old man died following a road traffic collision on the N12 between Derenbach and Wincrange.
According to the police, the driver’s vehicle left the carriageway and collided with a tree. Despite all efforts, the Luxembourg motorist, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, could not be saved.
The Police Forensic Investigation Unit attended the scene.
