On Tuesday 9 June 2026, the Grand Ducal Police launched an appeal for witnesses following the forcing open of several parking meters in Vianden.
According to the initial information, on the morning of Monday 8 June 2026 the police were informed that several parking meters in Vianden had been forced open.
A police patrol attended the scene and found a total of six damaged parking ticket machines. Police forensic services also attended the location and further investigations have been initiated.
