On Wednesday 10 June 2026, the Grand Ducal Police launched an appeal for witnesses to help identify an unknown individual in connection with the withdrawal of a substantial sum of cash which was undertaken with the use of a stolen credit card.
According to the police, the withdrawal was made using a cash machine located inside a bank branch in Kayl on 1 January 2026.
As part of the investigation, officers are seeking to identify the person shown in the published photographs.
