On Monday 15 June 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported several public order incidents over the weekend, including a robbery, two people taken into custody and 50 reports of noise disturbances across Luxembourg.

Over the previous 24 hours, police responded to noise disturbance reports, which, in most cases, had already calmed down by the time officers arrived or no excessive noise could be detected. In a small number of cases, officers resolved the situation on site.

During the night of Saturday 14 June 2026, a police patrol on Avenue de la Liberté in Luxembourg-Gare noticed several people chasing a man towards Rue Joseph Junck. Officers established that a robbery had taken place after the suspect allegedly stole the victim's mobile phone. The victim and several passers-by pursued the suspect until police intervened. Officers recovered the stolen phone and, on the instructions of the public prosecutor's office, filed an official report.

In a separate incident at around 02:40 that same night, officers received reports of a woman damaging the terrace of a restaurant on Rue de la Poste in Luxembourg-Ville. Although she initially left the area when instructed by officers, she later returned and refused to comply with police instructions. As she was intoxicated and disturbing public order, officers took her into custody.

Later that night, police were called to the emergency department of a hospital in Luxembourg City after reports of a man causing a disturbance. Following a medical examination, officers took the man into custody because of his condition and for disturbing public order.
