Luxembourg’s Ministry for Research and Higher Education has announced that during a National Day ceremony held at the Ministry of Research and Higher Education on Friday 19 June 2026, several staff members from Luxembourg's research and higher education sector received honorary distinctions.
Luxembourg’s Minister for Research and Higher Education, Stéphanie Obertin, presented decorations in the Grand Ducal Order of the Oak Crown to one ministry employee, two members of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and one member of the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH).
Another LIH employee received the Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
During the ceremony, Minister Obertin praised the recipients' long standing commitment and their contribution to the development of research and higher education in Luxembourg.
