The Grand Ducal Police have appealed for witnesses following an altercation in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg in which one person sustained a knife wound to the neck.
According to initial information, at around 22:15 on Tuesday 23 June 2026, an altercation broke out between two groups of people on Allée Scheffer at Place du Glacis in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg. During the incident, one person sustained a knife wound to the neck.
The Criminal Investigation Department (Service de police judiciaire - SPJ) is appealing for witnesses or anyone with information relevant to the incident or the suspect(s) to come forward.
The police have also asked anyone who took photographs or videos of the incident or the suspect(s) to upload the files via the police upload portal. Other relevant information can be sent by email to spj.ip-info@police.etat.lu.
