The municipality of Troisvierges has announced the programme for the second "Joyeuse Entrée" since Luxembourg's "Trounwiessel" (change of reign), which will take place on Friday 10 July 2026.

Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie will visit the northern municipality as part of a series of visits celebrating the accession of Luxembourg's new Head of State. Following the first Joyeuse Entrée in Esch-sur-Alzette in April, the visit to Troisvierges will highlight the Éislek region, its identity, traditions and local communities.

According to the municipality, the programme includes:

  • 16:00: official welcome outside Troisvierges Town Hall by the municipal authorities, followed by a welcome speech from the mayor, the signing of the Golden Book, greetings from the Town Hall balcony and a performance by a choir of almost 100 children;
  • a musical procession to the church and library, accompanied by regional music societies and scouts, with the public invited to greet the Grand Ducal Couple along the route;
  • Place Nicolas Adames: meetings with residents, local associations, senior citizens and children, accompanied by musical performances and dance demonstrations by pupils from Cycles 1 and 2;
  • the Cultural Centre: themed exhibition areas created by pupils from Cycles 3 and 4, showcasing the municipality's history, villages, cultural diversity, local associations and identity;
  • presentations of two notable private collections of vintage agricultural machinery, including more than 160 Steyr tractors from the collection of Arsène Laplume and more than 250 historic Fendt vehicles and machinespresented by J-Reiff Sàrl. Representatives of SICLER will also present initiatives supporting regional development;
  • a public celebration at Place Nicolas Adames featuring food tastings, activities organised by local associations and opportunities for residents to meet the Grand Ducal Couple.

The municipality added that a giant screen installed at Place Nicolas Adames will broadcast the key moments of the visit live. The Joyeuse Entrée will also be live-streamed on the municipality's website.
