On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July 2026, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to several incidents across Luxembourg, including a house fire, an industrial hall fire and several vegetation fires, with no injuries reported.

According to the CGDIS, the most significant incident on Saturday occurred at 18:09 on Boulevard Kennedy in Esch-sur-Alzette, where firefighters responded to a house fire. Crews from the Esch, Schifflange and Kayl fire and rescue centres, together with an ambulance from Schifflange, attended the scene. 

Several vegetation fires were also reported throughout the afternoon and evening, including on Um Biergwee in Oberkorn at 17:22, on Rue Gaston Thorn in Bertrange at 17:26, on Rue Dalscheidt in Oberkorn at 21:09 and along CR106 between Kahler and Hivange at 22:07. Firefighters also dealt with a burning container in Insenborn, a refuse fire in Mersch and a wheelie bin fire at the Echternach recreation centre. Firefighters also responded to a fire involving a railway crossing on Rue de la Gare in Bertrange.

On Sunday at 03:56, firefighters were called to Rue Gadderscheier in Soleuvre following a fire in an industrial hall.
