Police Appeal for Witnesses After Violent Burglary in Michelbouch

The Grand Ducal Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a violent burglary at a house in Route de Bissen in Michelbouch (Vichten) on Sunday 27 July 2026.

According to the police, two unidentified suspects unlawfully entered the property at around 15:00. Initial findings indicate that the occupants surprised the suspects inside the house. When one of the residents attempted to prevent the men from fleeing, she was pushed aside.

The suspects then left the house and fled in a vehicle parked outside. As the resident tried to stop the car from leaving, she was struck by the moving vehicle and injured. She was taken to hospital for medical treatment.

The suspects fled towards Mertzig in a black Audi A6 with German registration plates. A police search launched immediately after the incident was unsuccessful, and the investigation is ongoing.
