Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced updated prices for petrol, diesel and other petroleum products.
As of Wednesday 12 August 2026, both unleaded 95-octane and 98-octane petrol will increase by 7 cents, to €1.689 and €1.844 per litre (including VAT), respectively. Diesel will rise by 10.6 cents to €1.904 per litre.
The cost of heating oil will rise by 11 cents to €1.399 per litre for deliveries of at least 1,500 litres. Additional charges apply for smaller deliveries, ranging from 1.6 cents per litre for 1,000 to 1,499 litres to 3.7 cents per litre for deliveries below 200 litres.
Diesel for industrial and commercial use will increase by 10.6 cents to €1.509 per litre, while diesel for agricultural and horticultural use will go up by the same amount to €1.356 per litre.
Meanwhile, LPG and propane prices will remain unchanged.
Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
